I was trying to get a Samsung ML-1710 on WinXP-Pro to print from my laptop running Win7. I followed your directions and everything worked except it would not print. When I clicked on the printer icon in the task-bar, I had to click on Printer and UN-check the use printer offline. then it worked fine. Thanks, this helped so much.
