The Beginning of a Journey [Spring]

Spring Road

Something’s changed. Yesterday, I was going nowhere, but today, I feel like I’m collecting my things together at the beginning of a long and important journey, I know where the first few ports of call are but beyond that, I’ll work it out as I go.

First of all I’m going to get my room clear, give away what I don’t use and bin what I can’t give away. After that, I’m going to work out what the do with the rest of the year. Money is my first stop along the way. I’m just going to have to get back into promoting myself and trying to sell my skills to more people.

Making money to fund my other projects is probably going to take up the majority of my active time until some time in the summer. I might do other projects in the meantime but until I’m sure that I can run and promote the business on autopilot, other projects are going to have to wait.

In that time I’m going to put more emphasis on entertaining myself, as relaxation is an important part in staying productive. With my room cleaned out I should have room to dedicate an area just to drawing and writing, some of which I might post on this blog.

It will probably be some time in late summer before you see the fruits of any of my other projects but, when they come, they should be worth the wait.

Until then, they journey is just beginning. My main aim for the year is to make it back to Japan for next spring and, this time, I feel like I can really do it, .. really!

Ask the reader:

Have you ever woken up after a long period in your life where things didn’t seem to be going anywhere and suddenly feel as though you had set yourself a direction to walk towards?

  1. Hi, it’s a bit offtopic but may I ask you where did you get this blog template? I’m going to start bloggin as well, I’m a bit noob though but I really like it ;) Let me know…

  2. The theme is Black N White with a few customizations to the CSS.
If you’re looking for what theme people use, it usually says in the footer (Very bottom of the page.).

If you need any more help, just shoot me an email.
