While watching this just now, I came up with a rather simple idea to promote films. One thing I do when I watch a film or series is download the music tracks that really stand out and typify the film as a whole. Now, you often see those large cardboard cut-outs they have at cinemas they have promoting films? All you would need to do would be to hook up a device that will bluetooth a song from the film it is advertising, specifically, a tune suitable for a ringtone and strongly associated with the film. This way, when they are with friends and their phone has gone off, talk should shift quickly to the movie in question.
Also include a reminder that, once the ringtone has been downloaded, to turn their phone off if they are going into a film. God damn.
