Webcams and the return of the comic magazine
And so it rears it’s ugly head again. As described in the last post I wrote about preparation, I have been thinking about how to start a comics magazine from the point of view of where I am now. The technical side of it won’t be so hard if I can stick to editing a bit every night and organization may be hard but my main problem is getting enough interest to create a launch product. A while after the second attempt I came up with the idea of, instead of trying to get a bunch of people together from forums and try and form an organized group all at once, I could instead, create a page to collect email addresses of people who might be interested along with a short description of themselves so I can get back to the people as needed.
Now, getting people to go to this signup page won’t be easy. I know my blog has at least one reader who isn’t myself [Hello reader!] but this shall soon expand to at least two, maybe even three or possibly even three and a half readers when I begin getting my message out via Youtube! That is right, lady and.. I suppose, just lady. Soon I shall have a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 (hereby, the Quickcam 9000) and you will be able to see my face in all it’s stubbley glory. This will also be a chance to revive my weekly/bi-weekly podcast as I can run an iPod video feed from my website.
