I was thinking about things when my mind stumbled onto the subject of comics and of making my own, something I have wanted to do for quite a while, my mind then thought of something I had never even considered before. This was the preparation for drawing a comic..

Whenever I have thought of drawing  a comic in the past, the size of the task and the inability to know where I should start has always put me off but there I was, just plotting out what I could do to get my ideas organized, be ready to jot down any design ideas I might have and maybe divide some of my sketchbook up into storyboards to work out rough ideas.

When I realized what I was doing, my mind reeled slightly. For the first time I had looked at a someday/maybe project from the point of view of what I could do from the current point in time to the middle or even just the beginning of a project. This small epiphany has begun altering how I approach the large problems and stuck a blow at my defeatist attitude to some things.

For instance, I have trouble writing blog posts, mostly due to the times when I have something important to write and the times when I feel like writing rarely coinciding.  Right now what I should try and do is just put titles and notes in my notebook and then, when I feel I have something to blog and, more importantly, have it clearly defined, I don’t have to feel like forcing myself to write it out. Then, when I’m in the mood to really express myself, I will have plenty writen down to jog my memory.
