News: Trying shorter posts
With my recent experience with Twitter I am going to try putting out posts that give a quick summary of my life at the moment in seven lines or less. So here goes:
Yesterday I was pissed off at just about everything, overnight I have got my positive mood back.
I need to push on with flyering my local area to try getting customers for my computer business; I’m going to try doing this early in the morning when noone’s around.
I addition to my “don’t break the chain” diagram I have pinned up I am going to start rewarding myself for staying on task. This will probably involve giving myself a different sized reward depending on the amount of days in a week where I achieved something. Something along the lines of putting a pound towards a luxury for each day of a week plus for every weeks worth of chain I complete I add a pound to the amount I get each week so each week the amount I can get for keeping a chain going goes up by one.
I may also do a similar thing for my push up attempts as well. That depends how well the idea works with my business motivation. I will start keeping track of how many push ups I do though.
I started writing a view of where I want to be in a few years which I’ll post up the core aims of here when I’m done. It’s something that sort of provides reason for all the things I don’t want to do so it should act as a great motivation.
