An overview of my mind,
My new job looks to be interesting, I’m going to be working at the computer exchange shop in leeds and this will be my second full time job to date but given the working conditions I should enjoy it.
I was talking (technically being interviewed by) the manager, Theo, and from what I could learn Computer Exchange has actually got it’s buisness together. When I think about it, running a business where you are stocked by the adverage consumer must require some serious thought and very quick reactions.
In technology: I have started using my isolation headphones again and the increase in quallity is noticable when I am not using my bookshelf speakers.
Tech toys I have recently added to my wishlist include:
A micro bluetooth adapter – Having recently discovered Goosync I want to try syncing my google calendar to my phone so I can carry it around with me. The size will be usefull as I don’t really relish the thought of yet another massive dongle sticking out the side of my laptop.
Wacom Bamboo graphics tablet – Though at first I was a bit confused about the size it appears to be a very cheap A5 Wacom tablet, My current A3 tablet from trust cost about as much but wacoms work fine with linux and A5 will be much easier to work with. I might try propping it up on my laptop’s keyboard so I can art on the go.
Ok, I’ll keep this first one short as there are a lot of posts I want to make tonight.
